Short answer: training is evidence of professional preparation, but training is not a license. In Yucatán real estate, a course, workshop or association program should support the adviser’s work, while the legal license must still be verified through INSEJUPY.
This page separates training from the other proof layers: state license, federal competency certification, association membership, PROFECO contract checks and public reviews.

Why training matters
Good training helps a real estate adviser understand documents, contracts, property files, consumer protection, notary coordination, listing authority, buyer screening, title risks, rental questions, deposits, property condition and when to involve a specialist.
For a buyer, seller, landlord or renter, training is a sign that the adviser is not working only from habit or word of mouth. It is part of a more documented process.
What training does not replace
Training does not replace:
- INSEJUPY state-license verification.
- CONOCER EC0110.02 competency certification.
- Active AMPI membership.
- NAR / REALTOR directory proof.
- PROFECO/RPCA contract verification.
- Notary, tax, title or technical review.
A person can attend a course and still not be currently licensed. A person can once have been a member of an association and later stop being active. That is why each proof layer should be checked independently.
Casas en Valladolid training context
Diana De León publishes AMPI Mérida real estate intermediation training proof and CONOCER EC0110.02 proof as part of Casas en Valladolid’s operating standards. Dalila Yesenia de León Bañuelos publishes current INSEJUPY Tipo A proof for the legal Yucatán license layer.
The point is not to collect logos. The point is to make the process checkable: who is trained, who is licensed, who is a current association member, what contract path is used and where the public proof can be reviewed.
Buyer and seller checklist
- Ask whether the adviser has recent real estate training.
- Ask whether the adviser has CONOCER or another competency proof.
- Verify INSEJUPY directly in the public registry.
- Verify AMPI and NAR claims through live public profiles or directories.
- Ask for written authorization, contract path and notary coordination before sending money.

FAQ
Is real estate training the same as a license?
No. Training can show preparation, but the legal-license check in Yucatán is INSEJUPY.
Is AMPI training useful?
Yes, when it is current and relevant. It can support better practice, but it should be read alongside INSEJUPY, CONOCER, AMPI/NAR membership and contract verification.
Can someone use an old training certificate forever?
A certificate can document that training happened, but it does not prove current legal authorization, current association membership or current practice quality. Always check live sources where available.
Why does Casas publish training context?
Because clients should be able to verify the people advising them. Public training context helps explain preparation without pretending it replaces a state license.
